Tas Gas Holdings became known as Solstice Energy Holdings

Think of us as your brand new, been at this a while energy company. Coming in hot. To shake things up. Shun the norms. Defy expectations. Put control back in your hands. And re-define what a truly local energy provider can (and should) be.

We’ve spent the last 20 years or so quietly warming your winter mornings, empowering local businesses, and keeping industry industrious. Now we’re ready to go further, turning Tasmania’s limited energy options into unlimited possibilities. More local choice. More investment in new technology, ideas, and alternatives.

And we all know that action speaks louder than words. While change is inevitable, it won’t happen overnight. So, we’ll make sure we bring you along for the ride.

What does this mean?

The Tas Gas Group (Tas Gas Holdings) is now the Solstice Energy Group (Solstice Energy Holdings ).

Tas Gas Retail is now Solstice Energy, and we will begin selling electricity to Tasmanian households in early 2024.

Tas Gas Networks, Gas Networks Victoria and Gas Pipelines Victoria have each retained their names as a part of the Solstice Energy Group, and continues to own and operate gas pipeline infrastructure in Tasmania and Victoria.

This is all part of our strategy to become a more diversified energy company.
